Cold Laminating

“Cold” laminating films have a more aggressive adhesive that can be applied with pressure, instead of heat. A release liner protects the adhesive until it ready to applied, typically on a cold-roll laminator.

Cold lamination is your best option when laminating heat-sensitive documents.

These would include faxes, photos, and documents printed with an ink jet printer.

Digitally printed large format prints achieve better results when cold laminating is applied rather than thermal laminating.
