|Peter Tubb (67)
Peter started his apprenticeship as a stereotyper in Durban in 1965 and after qualifying he switched to photolithography. During his career he has held various positions starting from Repro Foreman through to General Manager, gaining experience in continuous forms, sheet fed litho, general printing and finishing, while gaining practical experience; he also studied further and has diplomas in Business Management and Industrial Relations. In 1993, along with Bruce Romeril they started what is now known as UVP Pro Bind. He is one of the longest serving members of the PIFSA KZN executive committee, and held office as Chamber President from 2002 to 2004.
|Bruce Romeril (64) In 1971 Bruce started his apprenticeship as a Process Engraver in Durban and went on to gain experience in Photo Lithography, 1984 was the year that Bruce moved into management, taking a position as a Production Manager and then as Works Manager, gaining invaluable experience in laminating, foil blocking and die-cutting. During this period Bruce was successful in obtaining a Diploma in Production Management. Bruce and Peter Tubb formed Pro Bind SA in 1993, in July 2005 the company joined the UVP stable and the name was changed to UVP Pro Bind.|
|Louis Weber (44)
Louis is a software engineer by trade and joined the print trade January 2002 at United Varnish and Print Finishing (Pty) Ltd, now UVP Veltopak (Pty) Ltd. He worked his way up through the ranks and became a director during 2004. Later that same year UVP Group opened operations in Gauteng and Louis was commissioned to manage these operations and become a shareholder. The Gauteng operations was managed with huge success and for a period of 10 years till January 2014. At this time Louis decided to take a sabbatical from the trade and UVP Holdings decided to sell the Gauteng operations. October 2014 Louis returned to the trade at UVP Pro Bind (Pty) Ltd. During 2015 Louis became a director and December 2015 a shareholder at UVP Pro Bind (Pty) Ltd by purchasing the UVP Holdings shares in Pro Bind. Louis was also a member of the executive committee of PrintSA(PIFSA) Central Chamber during his period as managing director of UVP Print Finishing Gauteng (Pty) Ltd.
